Job Details:
The successful Structured Cabling Project Lead is an individual who is able to successfully prepare daily goals, assigns a task, and track all daily activities on a project basis. The successful candidate will be able to analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other project documentation to create schedules to meet customer expectations, and track production using a wiring schedule. The candidate will need to be able to communicate with the End User, General Contractor, and Prism Management on the status of assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare required reports to manage the assigned projects.
- Pull, terminate and test CAT5 or CAT6 cable in commercial environments
- Pull, terminate and test multimode or single mode fiber
- Install pathway supports
- Closet relay rack and ladder rack buildout
- Manage onsite personnel and assign daily goals to ensure schedules are met.
- Manage all safety requirements on assigned projects
- QAQC on all Technology work performed on assigned projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned
In addition to these skills, potential candidates must be physically fit, able to lift a minimum of 60lbs, and be willing / able to work overtime and weekends if / when required.
Additional capabilities / experience in the following areas will be considered a plus:
- Holder of valid Texas Driver License
- Lift Certified
- Access Control
- Video Surveillance
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training
- Other safety training
