Cloud Architect
- Fully On-site in DC
- Clearance Required : Top Secret Clearance w / SCI Eligibility Position Overview Looking for a Cloud Architect supporting a Federal Government Client in Washington, D.C. This position would be working on a day shift, Monday - Friday, and be required onsite (no remote). Responsibilities
- Oversee cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, management, and monitoring. Use DevOps best practices to define deployment architecture.
- Define container-based solution architecture.
- Define the cloud formation template for any given solution.
- Ability to design infrastructure architecture based on multi-tenancy requirements.
- Work closely with application software engineering and technical teams to ensure a successful rollout of the solution to the cloud.
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships so that business vision and requirements are addressed correctly.
- Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements and make appropriate design adjustments, as well as provide effort estimates to support project management. Requirements
- Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI.
- Bachelor's degree preferred;10 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
- 5 years of experience in engineering / design in relevant technology disciplines
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure setup.
- Demonstrated ability to lead solution design sessions.
- Ability to teach and mentor others.
- Experience with Atlassian suite of tools.
- Experience with Agile, Jira, and SAFe Methodologies.
- Be able to review cloud-related Requests for Change (RFCs) that may affect type-accredited VPC environments.
- Be able to support security-related matters, including ISSO / ISSE tasks, ATO, ATT, ACSA, AWS' and FedRAMP packages.
- Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud infrastructure platform
