Join Our Payer Relations Team at Prism!
As a Prism Payer Relations Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering excellence while navigating the fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape of insurance contracting. Your work will help to design and execute payer contracting strategies to meet the financial, operational, and strategic needs of the organization.
A day in the life of a Payer Relations professional:
- Administrative tasks surrounding the pursuit of credentialing and contracting with government and commercial insurance payers, networks, or other forms of payers.
- On going completion of payer credentialing and re-credentialing requirements in a comprehensive and timely manner.
- Effectively establish payers for electronic claim submission and payment receipt.
- Regularly update and contribute to multiple databases of contracted and non-contracted payers.
- Maintain provider portal accounts and applicable databases via registration, password resets and problem-solving any login related issues.
- Assist in problem solving of contracting and claims processing issues through collaboration with internal departments and contracted and non-contracted payers.
- Support and serve as a resource for all department opportunities to include, but not limited to, health plan data base updates, health plan research and development, and health plan communications.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety and compliance. Resolve any are of non-compliance immediately.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Payer Relations Coordinator.
