What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Manager position at Prism Resources?
Prism Resources specializes in connecting corporate talent with South Florida's top companies. Our client is a well-established manufacturer and seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor. This is a hands-on supervisory role that will contribute to ensuring that payments are processed accurately in a timely manner in compliance with company procedures and processes.
What you'll be doing:
Full-cycle AP responsibilities- Prepare and process electronic payments and check runs.
Code invoices to the proper GL account.
Manage AP staff- Provide appropriate training and development, Review work quality and evaluate performance.
Verify that invoices are reviewed/approved by proper departments.
Handle vendor problems
Prepare various financial reports, including A/P aging reports
Collaborate with global operational sites.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business.
At least 5 years of corporate AP experience. Supervisory experience is needed.
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Experience working with large ERP systems.
