What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Specialist position at Prism Resources?
Prism Resources connects corporate talent with South Florida's top companies. Offering over 50 years in business, our client is an established leader in their industry with operations across Florida. As they transition to a new ERP system, they are in need of a Data Analyst to assist in migrating and maintaining accurate data in their systems. This includes inputting and validating information related to orders, deliveries, inventory and other records.
This is a fully in-office position located in West Palm Beach. Competitive salary offered with benefit package (Medical, dental, vision and 401K with match)
What you'll be doing:
- Enter/update data in systems to prepare for migration and ensure the integrity of data during migration.
- Resolve discrepancies to maintain reliable data for decision-making.
- Collaborate cross functionally with other departments such as operations, IT, finance to execute their data change requests efficiently
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to meet organizational needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive company and customer data.
What you'll need:
- At least a high school diploma is required. Further related training in IT and/or analytics is highly desired.
- Prior experience in data entry or a similar role
- Experience in large ERP systems
- Strong Excel skills is a must
- Background knowledge is accounting
- Ability to manage large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy.
