Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and complete full registration for patients, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Initiate pre-registration process and verify demographic insurance information.
- Verify insurance information, benefits, and referral requirements.
- Obtain legal photo identification and validate patient identity and coverage.
- Adhere to HIPAA standards related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2 Years experience in a patient-facing healthcare function or customer service role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Bi-lingual a plus
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-resolution skills
