Home Technology Technician at PRISM enjoy being part of a small local team paying $45k-$60k depending on experience or more if tech has PLT License

Qualifications:

The Lead Technician must have some experience in AV installation or a similar industry. Must be open to learning new skills on systems including audio, video, security, lighting. Must be able to read house plans other job site related documentation. Basic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standards. Attention to detail, particularly regarding key component placement & system wiring.

Objective: To provide excellent quality of installation & customer experience while meeting industry standards and completing assigned projects on time.

Summary of Position:

The Technician is responsible for installing and servicing products at customer’s job site. The technician will work with the lead technician in executing all aspects of projects sold for home technology clients. Organizing supplies, product, and transportation of high value equipment to job site will be among daily duties. Tech will be provided a company van and gas card.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for all aspects of onsite installation of AV systems from TVs, Speakers, Amplifiers, Security Components & Racking

· The management of van stock and tools as well as van maintenance and appearance

· Meet with Owner to ensure timeline and expectations

· Communicate effectively with and take direction from the Owner and lead Tech

· Review sales order, product list and scope of work prior to deploying equipment

· Responsible for all aspects of onsite installation of AV systems

· Demonstrate system capabilities to customers and make on site programming changes

· Daily job site cleanliness and adherence to builder site requirements

· Make decisions and be held accountable to Time and Materials

· Local travel to job sites required with Company provided Van

· Fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within Technician’s care

· Customer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers

· Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws

Additional Requirements:

· Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs

· May require standing or stooping for extended periods

· Ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height

· Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and criminal background
