Certification and Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following certifications:
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NIH Stroke Certification
In addition to certification, the following job requirements must be met:
- AHA BLS is required.
- Certificate from NBSTSA is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of experience in the field is necessary.
Shift and Schedule Information:
The shift will be 4x10 days with a call requirement of at least two days of call each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on the need. Guaranteed hours are available, with facilities allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

To work as a contracted staff member at Prisma Health, it is essential to have the following documents:

Certification Information:
Please note that RRT, CRT, Telemetry, MS/Tele, ER, Pediatric ER, all adult ICU Units, CCU, Stepdown, PCU, LTACH, PACU, Cath/IR, Endoscopy, L&D, Observation Unit, and LDRP RN candidates require specific certifications. AHA and ARC only, RQI is acceptable. Certification cannot expire within 30 days of start and proof of completion is not accepted, actual card/certification is required.
