Job Summary
This position requires a certified surgical technologist (CST) with experience in Level 1 Trauma and basic life support (BLS). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in surgical procedures and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care as a member of the surgical team.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- AHA BLS certification.
- At least one year of experience in Level 1 Trauma.
Schedule Information
- 4x10 day shifts.
- Call requirement: at least two days of call each week and 1-2 weekends every six weeks.
- Start date: three weeks after signed contract.
Additional Requirements
- Proof of I-9 or attestation required.
- Driver's license is required immediately upon signing for computer access setup.
- E-Verify or attestation required.
- Certification cannot expire within thirty days of start date; proof of completion is not accepted, actual card/certification must be presented to start.
