Overview
Our Clinical Occupational Medicine Specialist will assist in business development for occupational health services alongside the Occupational Medicine Department.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides on-site services for occupational health clients including DOT physicals as needed or requested by Occupational Health Clients
- Provides up to date training for new members of medical staff statewide
- Responsible for compliance with DOT certification requirements across medical staff
- Participates in meetings / activities as required to support operations of Occupational Health
- Provides urgent care services in high demand clinics as needed when other occupational health duties are fulfilled.
- Adheres to the service and courtesy standard of Prisma Health Urgent Care by delivering the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times.
- Provides patient care within the respective clinical area which complies with the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations and Prisma Health Urgent Care policies and procedures.
- Provides and / or serves as a resource for patient / family and staff education.
