About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures on patients as required by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Use scanning protocols and radiation safety guidelines to ensure high-quality images and minimize patient exposure to radiation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate information and optimal care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of imaging procedures and results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Registered and SCQRSA Licensed.
- CPR certified.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
