Job Summary
The Workforce Consultant plays a critical role on the Talent Acquisition team. They are responsible for the preboarding process including decisions on whether a new hire or current team member is cleared to start employment. Also responsible for communication to Talent Acquisition Partners and new hires regarding their cleared to start status. Responsible for ensuring all required preboarding documentation is uploaded into Prisma Health systems. Serves as primary point of contact for new hires related to questions about required documentation and start date status. This role is expected to utilize system tools to maximize efficiency and accuracy and follow established protocol to maintain effective and professional documentation. In addition, this role must exhibit the highest level of confidentiality. Performs other Talent Acquisition duties as required.
Accountabilities
Acts as the primary point of contact for new hires related to preboarding questions and demonstrates a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and problem resolution
Validates new hire credentials and qualifications with those required in the job description
Completes due diligence process by reviewing background check status to ensure timely completion and verification of necessary requirements and by monitoring and communicating pre-employment health screening status to ensure new hires are cleared to start
Communicates with new hire to obtain any missing required credentials or qualifications
Operates as primary contact with background check provider to resolve any issues in obtaining necessary credentials and verifying necessary qualifications and completes additional research to complete verification process
Utilizes Workday for tracking of new hire status, candidate information, and the storage of documents
Maintains accurate and organized list of new hires and current status
Communicates with Talent Acquisition Partners regarding new hire status and needed items or issues related to clearance to start
Manages difficult situations through the use of effective communication techniques and involve supervisor as necessary
Collaborates with other HR departments as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
1 year of Human Resources experience
In Lieu Of
1 year of Human Resources experience, 6 months of Prisma Health experience in Human Resources may be considered
