We are seeking a dynamic business development professional from the fitness or health industry to join our consumer marketing team. This individual will be responsible for building partnerships with organizations in the fitness and action sports space to promote our ORB Sport smart mouthguard.
Essential Functions :
- Develops and executes business development strategy for assigned product line(s) in collaboration with the management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Scopes key performance indicators (KPIs), builds quarterly forecasts, and tracks pipeline through to commercialization. Provides data-driven reporting to management and stakeholders.
- Conducts and maintains high-level prospecting activity to meet key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring consistent sales pipeline growth.
- Identifies and targets potential business opportunities through strategic prospecting and in-person solicitation at industry trade shows to drive new sales.
- Engages with existing partners to promote additional products, gather feedback, and address business requirements. Communicates insights to management and stakeholders to enhance service quality.
- Collaborates closely with partners (prospective, new, and existing) to understand their needs and leverage technical expertise to recommend tailored solutions for consideration.
- Builds and nurtures strong relationships with partners to ensure high post-sale satisfaction and foster long-term account retention and growth.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of assigned product line(s) offerings, pricing, promotions, and sales strategies, ensuring timely communication of updates to partners.
- Ensures customer relationship management (CRM) systems and databases are consistently updated with accurate and current partner and sales information.
- Manages and organizes sales resources, including samples, catalogs, and price guides, ensuring all materials are clean, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
- Distributes marketing materials and samples to partners to support sales efforts and demonstrate product value.
- Travels and / or drives to locations away from primary workplace to liaise with partners.
