What we are looking for : A driven and mission-focused Writer / Editor Intern to support writing and editing efforts on the Marketing and Communications team. Expectations of this role : Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions Assist with interviewing, researching, writing, copyediting and proofreading Assist with creating story spreadsheets / archiving Airtable or similar PM apps Assist with consolidating and cleaning correctional facility data / updating distribution lists Perform other duties as requested This is a remote / work from home position Qualifications : Familiarity with Word or a basic PM Software (Wrike preferred) Ability to use Adobe Acrobat Ability to use Excel, Smartsheet and Airtable preferred Familiarity with AP Style Writing / Journalism Proficiency with the Internet (Facebook / Google / Getty) What we offer : A team oriented, mission driven, supportive environment with cutting edge technology solutions and tremendous opportunity for growth and development. The start and end dates are flexible but this internship is approximately 8 weeks long and between 10-30 hours per week. The rate of pay is projected to be $16-18 / hour.
