We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fertilization/Chemical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper application of fertilizers, treating weeds and other beneficial lawn application services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fertilization and chemical application techniques.
RegularJob duties will include:
- Mix, handle, and apply fertilizers and chemicals as needed.
- Operate and maintain spraying equipment and other machinery.
- Monitor and record environmental conditions and chemical application rates on a per job/daily frequency.
- Comply with safety/PPE protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and or environmental contamination.
- Keep accurate records of chemical usage and application activities on a per job/daily frequency..
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous commercial lawn and ornamental chemical application experience a must. (1 year minimum)(2-4 years preferred)
- Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides & fungicides.
- Ability to operate and maintain fertilizer/chemical application equipment.
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- High attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to calculate targeted application rates and calibration of equipment on a daily basis.
- Valid Missouri (Class E) drivers license with clean driving history.
- Must be 18 and legally able to work in the United States.
- Certification in Missouri Department Of Agriculture Category 0 Core (required).
- Certification in Missouri Department Of Agriculture Category 3 Ornamental & Turf Pest Control (required).
- Certification in Missouri Department Of Agriculture Category 6 Right-of-Way Pest Control (is a plus).

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
