Cleaning Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and safe for clients and staff. This role requires a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean windows, walls, and surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.

Experience

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Night shift

• Fairfield, AL 35064: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
