Parts Manager
The Parts Manager is responsible for managing the procurement, sales, and distribution of automotive parts, while fostering relationships with suppliers and training team members to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency. Oversight on the parts department's operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, exceptional customer service, and strong team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage parts inventory to ensure accurate tracking, adequate stock levels, and timely disposal of obsolete items.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the parts department staff, facilitating training and ensuring professional growth.
- Manage all aspects of ordering parts, building strong relationships with distributors to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting with parts inquiries and ensuring prompt and accurate service.
- Drive parts sales, manage department budget, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
- Research and troubleshoot parts issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely solutions for both internal and external customers.
- Ensure staff completes OEM training, staying updated on new products and industry standards.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an automotive parts department, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong computer skills, with experience in inventory management software.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of automotive parts and systems.
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift, and perform bending and twisting motions as required.
