Technician A
The Technician A is responsible for advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills and passion for the automotive industry will shine.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting to accurately identify mechanical issues in vehicles.
- Complete repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications, including but not limited to engine, transmission, electrical, and brake systems.
- Adhere to all OEM master technician training requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all cause-and-correction procedures, maintaining clear and concise communication on repair orders and customer documents.
- Mentor and support other technicians in the shop, providing guidance on complex repairs and best practices.
- Maintain productivity and quality of work with a rework rate of less than 1%.
- Stay up to date with current automotive technologies, including electric vehicle (EV) systems and emerging automotive trends.
- Utilize specialty tools and diagnostic equipment necessary for the role.
- Collaborate effectively with the service team to ensure a seamless customer experience from diagnostics to repair completion.

Ideal Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in automotive technology preferred.
- Must possess and maintain current tools needed to perform job responsibilities.
- EV certification and other specialty certifications highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an automotive technician with proven expertise in diagnostics and repairs.
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to use modern diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and repair vehicle issues.
- Master OEM certification or the ability to complete training is required.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly document diagnostics, repairs, and interact with both customers and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
