Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during dining hours.
- Maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and presentable.
- Reset tables between guests, ensuring that crockery, cutlery, and glassware are cleaned, polished, and replenished as needed.
- Empty trash bins, replenish supplies, and handle other maintenance tasks to support the team.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, providing friendly and professional service.
- Assist servers by clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables and refilling drinks as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and multitasking skills to keep up with the pace of the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times while adhering to company grooming standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Experience
- 1-3 years of hospitality experience in full-service restaurants.
- Clear understanding of the English language (verbal and written).
- Availability on weekends is required, as well as on holiday when the restaurant is open.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and potentially fast-paced conditions.
- Willingness to adapt to ongoing changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and confident verbal and written communication skills with guests, team members, and management.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills to interact courteously and professionally with guests and staff.
