Job Description
Farmers District office in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a District Recruiter to support existing agents and expand it's footprint in the market.
This is a full-time position with a Base Salary plus Bonus opportunities and career advancement options in the long term within the District, Agencies or the Company.
As a Recruiter you will serve as a consultant and business partner to the District Manager to determine current and future talent acquisition requirements. You will collaborate with the district team to generate appointments, source, contact and interview potential candidates for agency business owners and grow agencies across the Greater Salt Lake area.

Responsibilities
- All qualified candidates should be able to source, screen, evaluate, recommend candidates, and maintain a solid network of contacts within the industry.
- Develop, recommend and execute various sourcing strategies, such as college/university recruiting, internet job boards, social media, resume mining and job fairs to attract a diverse and inclusive talent pool
- You will be required to learn different entry points to becoming a Farmers Agent as well as the tools and systems needed to create sustainable growth for these individuals to reach their personal and professional goals.
- Once these candidates are selected you will also be responsible for tracking progress and assisting these individuals though our business owner on-boarding process.
- Perform behavioral, competency and skill-based interviews to assess candidate qualifications for the various positions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- PREVIOUS FARMERS INSURANCE EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS!!!
- Verifiable recruiting and insurance agency/sales experience.
- Demonstrate experience using resume databases, internet search tools and/or social networking to find and attract top talent.
- Excellent presentation skills, as well as oral and written communication skills
- Time management skills, organized, punctual, reliable, goal-oriented team player with a passion to win
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is important
- Must pass our background check (Credit, Criminal and Motor Vehicle)
Salary : $48,000 - $60,000
