Pritt’s Painting Company is seeking a full time Project Manager for the Columbus Ohio location. Pritt’s Painting Company is a fast growing commercial painting company serving the Columbus area performing commercial painting, light industrial painting, and epoxy floor coatings for contractors, property managers, and building owners. The Project Manager is responsible to produce projects at a profit and perform occasional takeoffs and pricing for new opportunities while ensuring an excellent experience for all stakeholders-the customer, the team, our industry partners, and the community.
Project Management (Estimated 80% of the Job)
Manage projects from acceptance through completion including :
Customer Communication and Satisfaction
Attend all required meetings with the client or client representative.
Update on issues, change orders, and all updates required.
Project Documents
Create project file
Ensure all required items are submitted and approved prior to the project start.
Ensure all appropriate project documents are uploaded to the field portal.
Update update drawings as needed
Billing
Communicate change order and billing information to the accounting department.
Scheduling and Manpower
Ensure appropriate staffing levels are anticipated and met with support from operations team
Communicate with operations about progress, additions, and delays.
Equipment and Materials
Ensure submittals are approved and documented
Ensure materials are ordered and delivered as needed.
Ensure equipment is ordered and available as needed with the support of the operations department.
Safety
Monitor and ensure all safety policies are being followed at all times.
Document and report issues including jobsite incidents to management
Project Management
Visit job sites as appropriate to manage quality, safety, and project budgets.
Perform final punch and project close out including attic stock, warranty letters, etc.
Estimating (Estimated 20% of the Job)
Takeoffs
Measure and prepare pricing as requested for commercial re-paint opportunities.
Perform takeoffs from blueprints and prepare pricing for new construction.
Create estimates using our estimating program.
Follow up to confirm receipt and engage the client to increase acceptances.

Company Meetings
Attend weekly production meetings and weekly management meetings less than an hour each
About you :
You have previous project management experience in construction, preferably painting.
You have at least a basic understanding of blueprints and are interested and open to becoming proficient.
You are comfortable and proficient in using cloud based technologies and microsoft applications..
You have excellent verbal and written communication.
You are calm under pressure.
You are organized and detailed.
Schedule : M-F 7-4 : 30
Occasional after hours or weekends if required.
Remote position with 50% in the field
Compensation and Benefits :
60,000-$75,000 per year with incentives.
Potential to earn $100,000 annually
3 Weeks Accrued PTO
