Accounts Receivable/Leasing Clerk

Pyramid Construction Group LLC has managed commercial, residential, and office properties across the United States since 1965. The Company is currently looking for an Accounts Receivable and Leasing Clerk, which recently became available due to the retirement of a long-standing employee. In this role, you will primarily oversee tenant receivables across all of our properties; this is a position that will require you to be in-office full time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply cash receipts and prepare bank deposits daily
• Contact tenants as needed to ensure payment of outstanding balances in a timely manner
• Audit receipts to confirm special arrangements are being followed, if applicable
• Maintain and keep perpetually up to date tenant contact files (phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc. )
• Maintain perpetual log on the status of collection on overdue accounts including your collection efforts.
• Learning and understanding the residential processing of a lease
• Engaging in the tenant move out process, completing move out forms and templates to determine whether to refund or retain security deposits, depending on the condition of the unit.
• Undertaking and completing special or ad hoc projects independently and as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts receivable/collections, with a strong emphasis on commercial and residential properties
• Strong verbal communication skills necessary for collection calls and resolving tenant disputes
• Ability to learn new systems and processes, including in-house proprietary software systems
• Familiarity with ACH and wire process
• Multi-tasker
• Excellent written skills
• Demonstrated ability in billing procedures
• Ability to work independently but comfortable asking questions when needed
• Highly organized
