Construction Project Manager

Tampa Developer Builder of semi-custom homes has a tremendous opportunity for the right individual.

The ideal candidate will have experience in custom, in-fill, high-end residential construction in the Tampa area.

We offer a competitive, base salary with an aggressive bonus plan.

Job Description :

  • Will hire and manage subcontractors
  • Will work with engineers and architects as needed
  • Will have knowledge of regulations and permitting required
  • Will be highly organized, keep projects on budget
  • Will have excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Responsibilities :

  • Oversee construction projects from beginning to end
  • Study plans and resolve any issues prior to start
  • Keep projects on budget
  • Ensure labor and material are ordered and delivered according to schedule
  • Prepare reports regarding job status
  • Resolve any problems that may arise
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Work with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project team members
  • Follow construction schedule and advise if there are any deviations
  • Keep all stakeholders advised of progress on projects
  • Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards

    • Job Requirements :

  • PMP or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset
  • Extensive experience managing construction budgets
  • Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
  • Highly organized
  • Experience in a leadership role, strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Able to plan ahead
  • Experience with project management software, preferably Buildertrend
  • Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to multitask
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
