We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HVAC and Plumbing Estimator to join our team. This role is crucial in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver competitive and profitable bids.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive estimates for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scopes and address potential challenges.
- Research and source competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure estimates comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and local regulations.
- Maintain and update a database of historical project costs and vendor pricing.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews as needed.
- Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining quality.
