Our client, a leading provider of global relocation and mobility solutions is seeking a highly organized and analytical Mobility Specialist to join their team! This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel and reporting capabilities who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The Mobility Specialist will be responsible for supporting international and domestic employee mobility programs, managing data accuracy, responding to inquiries, preparing documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments and regions.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise (think VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables), and a passion for people and process!
Responsibilities
- Run, analyze, and interpret data using advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts), and transform insights into digestible presentations using PowerPoint for senior leadership.
- Maintain and update internal systems to ensure accurate tracking of employee assignment details including start dates, costs, assignment types, and other critical data points.
- Issue and manage relocation, expatriate transfer, and departure documentation, tracking completion and status of each.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from transferring employees, hiring managers, recruiters, and internal business partners, delivering timely and professional responses.
- Authorize and coordinate with external vendors including relocation providers, immigration counsel, and tax consultants.
- Generate and review relocation/assignment cost estimates to ensure accuracy and alignment with budget and policy.
- Monitor and respond to regional Mobility Helpdesk requests.
- Review and interpret Mobility budget reports, identifying discrepancies or opportunities for optimization.
- Participate in and support ad-hoc regional mobility projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in HR, mobility, or a related field (global mobility experience strongly preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills are essential (proficient in VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Charts).
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to prepare clear and impactful presentations for leadership.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a global team structure.
- Experience coordinating with external vendors or partners is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
