POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Clerk is responsible for obtaining, processing, and reporting data related to production performance, customer returns, core and raw material inventory accuracy, work order issuing and closing, and providing accurate shipping information in our ERP system.
Responsibilities:
- Report daily planned and completed production orders
- Create and close work orders as needed
- Create work order travelers that will accompany the work order from core issue to packing complete
- Report daily shipments received to management and sales customer service team
- Perform and report discrepancies in orders received compared to the return orders
- Work with the customer service team on adjustments and processing the orders in the system
- Perform transferring of the returns in the ERP system
- Provide BOL and packing list for all shipments and transfer orders
- Process Transfer orders and shipments in ERP system
- Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture
- Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment
- Perform and oversee cycle counts of cores and raw materials to ensure that we have accurate inventories
- Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management
Requirements:
- Preferred: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 2 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook and ERP systems
- Experienced with performing inventory transactions and cycle counts in an enterprise system.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities
- Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment
- Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills
