Job Summary
The Residential Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing the weekly operations of an estate in Sharon, CT in additional to several other private residences owned by the same family, ensuring seamless experiences for the Principals and their guests. This role requires the ability to assess and prioritize household needs, coordinate with team members, and proactively prepare for guest stays and scheduled events. Strong time management, decision-making, and attention to detail are essential. The role also involves overseeing meals and entertainment, particularly on nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
● Coordinate with team members to prioritize and fulfill the Principals’ needs
● Run errands as needed
● Assist with light kitchen prep
● Handle decorating and floral arrangements
● Participate in planning and executing gatherings and events
● Assist with mealtimes, including setting the dining room and clearing dishes
● Maintain and update inventory, placing orders as necessary
● Manage guest arrivals and departures in coordination with the team
● Oversee and ensure the cleanliness of all residential spaces
● Assist with guest room turnovers, including bed-making and laundering bedding and towels
Required Skills & Qualifications
● 2–3 years of experience in private household service, front-of-house restaurant service, or professional housekeeping
● Proficiency in texting, email, online calendars, and Google Workspace
● A proactive, self-motivated work style
● Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented, open-office setting
● Must provide three references
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
● Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
Compensation & Benefits
● Hourly rate: $25–$35/hr, based on experience
