A retail store is looking for a strong leader to run the Cedar Falls location.
Key responsibilities:
- Adhering to operational policies and procedures
- Using broad business knowledge to affect store results, including sales and customer engagement while operating within budgetary limits.
- Ensuring weekly work schedules are created to maximize productivity and engagement
- Promoting engagement and morale within the staff by understanding individual motivation and needs, recognizing and rewarding successful performance, and helping them achieve career goals
- Leading recruiting, onboarding and training for all employee levels in the store
- Cultivating a learning culture by providing exceptional onboarding and development opportunities, along with coaching and feedback
- Connecting with community organizations to partner on events and marketing opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience leading retail teams
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Office knowledge is a must, as well as good communication skills.
- Ability to operate all equipment – including a forklift – as well as being able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Candidates must be able to work flexible schedules, have reliable transportation, must pass a background screening, and be 18 years of age or older.
