Role Overview : We are seeking a talented and passionate True Crime Scriptwriter to join our creative team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storytelling, a keen interest in true crime, and the ability to craft scripts that captivate and inform our viewers.
Key Responsibilities :
In-Depth Research : Conduct thorough investigations into true crime cases, utilizing police records, court documents, reputable news sources, and other pertinent materials to gather accurate and comprehensive information.
You will be provided all documents related to the cases we cover.
Engaging Narrative Development : Transform complex case details into compelling, well-structured narratives that maintain factual integrity while captivating the audience.
Scriptwriting : Craft clear, concise, and engaging scripts tailored for video production, ensuring they align with our brand's voice and resonate with our target audience.
Collaboration : Work closely with producers, editors, and other team members to ensure scripts are effectively translated into high-quality video content.
Revisions : Incorporate feedback from the team to refine scripts, maintaining flexibility and a commitment to excellence throughout the revision process.
Deadline Management : Consistently meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
Qualifications :
Proven Experience : Demonstrated experience in scriptwriting, particularly within the true crime genre. A portfolio showcasing previous work is required.
Strong Storytelling Skills : Ability to weave factual information into engaging narratives that hold the audience's attention.
Research Proficiency : Exceptional research skills with a commitment to accuracy and ethical reporting.
