The Portfolio Group plays a pivotal role in the SS business, managing assets and funds totaling $20 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). This team collaborates closely with leadership and deal teams to navigate analytical, strategic, and operational issues, ultimately optimizing fund performance and driving profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain projection models for GSS funds, enhancing forecasting precision and investment strategies.
- Support fund financing endeavors, including structuring models and conducting fund-level impact analyses to ensure robust financial health.
- Provide analytical assistance during fundraising initiatives and investor reporting to uphold transparency and stakeholder engagement for the GSS business.
- Oversee the cash positions of GSS funds, managing the funding pipeline and coordinating capital calls/distributions effectively.
- Assist in the management of US SS portfolio reporting, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), value creation initiatives, and potential risk factors.
- Maintain a centralized system for tracking fund information, encompassing asset allocations, historical returns, fund financings, and ongoing value optimization efforts.
- Contribute analytical insights during evaluations of new fund investment products and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Strong academic background with a BA/BS from a respected institution; a concentration in Finance or a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics is preferred. CFA designation is a plus.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in data or risk analytics, portfolio management, or strategic finance; familiarity with asset management and various investment products (like private equity and credit) is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel, with hands-on experience in managing datasets and applying financial models/scenario analytics; experience with VBA and Power BI is beneficial.
- Competence in PowerPoint, pivotal for effective communication of analytical insights to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating management of relationships across different organizational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
