What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cross-Country Semi-Truck Driving Opportunity position at Private Family Office?
We are seeking a skilled semi-truck driver with mechanic experience to join our private family office's fleet management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a new 2024 Peterbilt toterhome (semi-tractor/motorhome) with up to 53' gooseneck trailer on a six-month cross-country site seeing excursion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. You will be required to manage the maintenance needs and supplies of the fleet while on the road, including loading and unloading vehicles from trailers, washing/detailing vehicles interior and exterior, laundry/dishes, refreshing fleet water supply, monitoring all fluid levels, organization and general support, supply and grocery restocking, private event setup/dismantle, and ability to juggle several tasks at once.
In addition to your driving and mechanical skills, we are looking for someone who can work well in a team environment, has a positive attitude, and is able to handle a sense of urgency. Our company offers a competitive daily rate of $800/day while out of town, paid weekly via ACH as a 1099 contractor, lodging provided as driver will sleep/live in a new 2024 toterhome with another staff member, first and last flight/transportation to be reimbursed for non-local individuals, and daily per diem for food and beverage.
