Job Summary
A lovely family is seeking a full time live in Nanny in Sherman, CT. This position would live in a separate house within the estate. Responsible for 2 young boys (3 years old and newborn due in April). Must have drivers license and clean driving record. Must be willing to travel with the family several weeks per year international and domestic. CPR certified. High energy and willing to take the older child to various activities. Fluency in a second language is a plus (Spanish or Italian). The start date is negotiable but not before June 1.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities to foster learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to any dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and children's belongings.
- Assist with infant care tasks such as diaper changes, feeding, and soothing.
- Supervise playtime both indoors and outdoors, ensuring a safe play environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, behaviors, and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Nanny is a must
- Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking healthy meals for children.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Ability to educate children through play-based learning activities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
- A caring attitude with a passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
- Ability to clean up after activities and maintain an organized space for the children.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of the family.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
