Exciting Opportunity for Non-CDL 1-Ton Truck Driver with Towing Experience!
Are you ready for an adventure? We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Non-CDL 1-Ton Truck Driver with towing experience for a six-month cross-country site-seeing journey through the United States and Canada. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic team while transporting and maintaining a private / non-commercial fleet of vehicles along with various daily tasks.
Position Overview :
Start Date : As soon as possible (not after April 1st) and ending mid-October.
Potential for transition to full-time local employment in Cleveland, Ohio, with full benefits.
Opportunity for a 2026 cross-country Alaska excursion.
This is a seasonal 1099 position with competitive compensation, starting at $500 / day for time spent traveling. Additional pay may be offered for candidates with exceptional skills.
Role Responsibilities :
Operate a new custom 2024 Ford F-450 while towing a trailer.
Maintain the private fleet of vehicles, including a motorcoach, toterhomes, and other vehicles.
Load and unload vehicles from trailers, ensuring proper load securement.
Perform maintenance tasks like washing / detailing vehicles, monitoring fluid levels, and organizing supplies.
Handle laundry, dishes, and refresh fleet water supplies.
Participate in private event setup and dismantling.
Position Requirements :
Valid Driver's License (Non-CDL accepted).
Light mechanical experience and the ability to physically handle rugged, varied weather environments.
Capable of occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.
Valid passport for crossing international borders (assistance provided if needed).
Consent to a background check.
Pet-friendly and comfortable working around cats / dogs.
Preferred Attributes :
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and strong sense of urgency.
Commercial driving experience or a current / past CDL license is a plus.
