We are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to care for our 3.5-month-old infant. I work from home and will be available but need a responsible caregiver who is comfortable handling the day-to-day needs of a newborn. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about early childhood development, including wake windows, sleep cues, and feeding routines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Infant Care: Comfortably care for our 3.5-month-old, including feeding, diaper changes, and helping with naps.
* Nap Assistance: Help put the baby down for naps and ensure sleep routines are followed.
* Bottle Feeding: Prepare and feed bottles, as well as manage bottle cleaning after use.
* Diapering: Change diapers regularly and maintain a clean and comfortable environment for the baby.
* Early Childhood Development: Understand and respond to the baby's cues, fostering positive development during wake time.
Additional Duties:
* Light baby-related chores, including cleaning bottles and baby laundry.
* Comfortable with family dogs (no pet care required but must be comfortable around them).
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience with newborns and infants, preferably with references.
* Knowledgeable about infant development, including sleep routines and feeding schedules.
* Comfortable with the tasks of diapering, bottle-feeding, and nap time management.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
* Comfortable with dogs.
Requirements:
* Prior nanny or childcare experience with infants.
* CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, but can be obtained before start date).
* Must be a non-smoker.
* Comfortable in a home setting where the parent(s) is working remotely.
Schedule:
* Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (flexibility is a plus, as hours may vary occasionally).
