Job Summary :
The Assistant House Manager supports executive and house management, and all team members of Exclusive Hawaii Rehab in all facets of the Company by managing the daily house functions of the Center.
As Assistant House Manager you are responsible for keeping house functions in compliance with Company standards and the State of Hawaii Regulations. To succeed in this role, you must be hands-on at the Center, have a knack with people, be able to energize and manage a team, handle day-to-day problems, and deliver excellent customer care. You must be ethical, show good judgment, and be dependable and professional at all times. The Assistant House Manager is responsible to perform some duties of other team members when necessary or assigned, and contribute to the profitable operation of the business.
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position requiring 40 to 50 or more hours per week.
Qualifications and Skills:
This position requires strong personnel-management skills and analytical ability. You must be able to manage people, procedures, work flows, and compliance, and possess the technical and managerial knowledge to oversee the Center’s day-to-day house functions. Other required abilities include effective customer service, strong spoken and written communication, and leadership. The Assistant House Manger must be able to operate within the assigned budget. You must be ethical, show good judgment, be dependable and professional, and think strategically. Other qualifications include:
- Highly organized and efficient
- Able to multi-task amid changing priorities
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- English proficiency
- Computer competent
- Valid Driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
- All standard pre-employment requirements such as Physical, TB test, Background Check, etc.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Current Safe Food Handling certification to be in place within one (1) month of start date and prior to working in any solo capacity
- Attention to detail, creating and following step-by-step processes
- Capable of handling difficult situations with tact and professionalism
- Holding the team and individual staff members accountable
Education and Experience:
- College diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
- Understanding of addiction and detoxification issues.
