What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outdoor Maintenance position at Private home owner?
Year-round Full Time 40 hours/week plus benefits. 7:30am – 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of the property (grounds and buildings)
- Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming trees, chainsaw, cleaning up blowdowns
- Launch, clean and fuel boats
- Spring and Fall start up and shut down of homes
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or management
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Skills:
- Experience in landscape maintenance, including lawn care, tree trimming, and garden upkeep
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of basic mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Additional trade skills a plus, but not required - Carpentry, plumbing, automotive repair, diesel repair, electrical, etc.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
