We are seeking a motivated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and the food industry, looking to gain valuable experience in a nightclub setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies and ensuring the bar is well-equipped for service.
- Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Help prepare garnishes and mixers for drinks, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Support customer service efforts by providing friendly assistance to guests as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to management.
- Participate in catering events as required, assisting with setup and breakdown.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- A willingness to learn about cocktail preparation and bar operations.
- Must be able to clean efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the bar area.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
