What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Caregiver position at Private Home & Personal Care?
We are looking for a Caregiver to care for an elderly handicapped lady. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. No medical experience required.
Shifts are 24 hours from 9am - 9am. Current day available is Friday at 9am to Saturday at 9am.
Responsibilities
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist client with mobility (doctor’s appointments, etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene (dressing/bathing/bathroom)
- Plan and prepare meals
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Be physically active and able to physically move client. No lifting required.
