Housekeeper/ Nanny:
We are looking for a live-out housekeeper/ nanny. The successful candidate for this position should be highly organized, enthusiastic and has experience in housekeeping and child care. We are seeking a hardworking, motivated individual to join our family.
The ideal candidate should have prior housekeeper/nanny experience, able to work well individually, must be loving, must love dogs, energetic, flexible, adaptable, able to multitask, have good judgement skills and be able to initiate tasks independently.
This role is for afternoon/ evenings 6 days a week. This role would be from 3PM - 9PM Tuesday- Saturday and 8:30AM-6:30PM Sunday. The schedule would generally be in these parameters but may need to adjust based on personal activities. Generally would be 40 hours per week.
The primary focus of this role is child care and development, when not doing that the next primary role is to cook dinner and other meals for the family. We have a morning shift housekeeper/ nanny, there will be 2 hours per day of overlap with her so coordinating tasks is important.
Responsibilities Include and not limited to:
- Prepare well-balanced meals for the entire family
- Meal prep food to be heated up at a later time
- Grocery shopping
- Maintain a clean & orderly home at all times. Open packages.
- Washing & Folding laundry (daily).
- Make the beds at times
- Household chores (vacuuming, wiping the counter, taking out the garbage, mopping, making sure supplies are stocked at all times in kitchen, first floor is clean, bathrooms & bedrooms, miscellaneous).
- Clean up kitchen after all meals (load|unload dishwasher when needed)
- Child(ren)’s rooms and play areas clean, sanitary and tidy
- Put child(ren)’s toys and clothing away in appropriate places
- Bathe baby as needed
- Keep baby clean, dry and comfortable
- Manage child(ren)’s meal and nap time consistent with Parent’s desired schedule for baby
- Teach, guide and collaborate with parents on newborn care
ADDITIONAL NEEDS:
- First Aid & CPR certified (can help facilitate if needed)
- Driver License and personal vehicle necessary
