Private Individual Recreational Sports photographer/videographer

Job Title: Recreational Sports Photographer/Videographer (Contractual)

Summary: We are seeking an entry-level Recreational Sports Photographer/videographer to capture still and video shots of in-game play and create dynamic highlight reels of key experiences. This contractual position requires a commitment of 1 hour per week on Tuesday (other predetermined dates) for 7 weeks (May 13 - June 24th), with a 6-day turnaround time for each highlight reel development.

Responsibilities:

1. Capture high-quality still and video shots of in-game play during recreational sports events.
2. Edit and compile video highlights showcasing key in-game experiences.
3. Ensure timely delivery of highlight reels, unedited shots adhering to the 6-day turnaround time for each week's footage.
4. Collaborate with team owner to understand specific requirements and ensure alignment with the organization's objectives.
5. Maintain organized file management and documentation of all captured footage

Qualifications:

• Proficient in photography and videography techniques, with demonstrated experience in sports footage preferred.
• Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines consistently.
• Ability to adapt to various lighting conditions (including evening) and fast-paced sports environments.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with event organizers and other team members.

Education and Experience:

• A portfolio demonstrating proficiency in sports photography and video editing.
• Previous experience in recreational or amateur sports photography is advantageous.
