SUMMARY
The Line Service Manager oversees line service technicians, cleans and facilities at both the Zelienople Municipal Airport and Allegheny County Airport. Private Jet Center (PJC) is a growing aircraft management company servicing nationwide customers.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a working manager this position will supervise ramp, hangar, and fuel storage facility activities to assure safe, efficient and timely delivery of service to our customers. Communication of work progress and significant issues with the Director of Flight Dispatch.
- Oversee all Fuel QC and the ordering of Jet / 100LL fuels.
- Oversee fueling, towing, interior/exterior cleaning and stocking of all company fleet aircraft.
- Oversee fueling and towing of all transient FBO aircraft.
- Manage and oversee completion of airport maintenance functions to include grass cutting and snow plowing.
- Coordinate a schedule for Line Service Technicians and aircraft cleaners to effectively meet the needs of the operation.
- Ensure proper staffing and delegate work assignments for all Line Service technicians and aircraft cleaners. Monitor and update daily aircraft arrivals and departure requirements. Ensure that timely service meets customer, operations and maintenance expectations.
- Monitor the ramp personnel for adherence to SOPs to ensure proper operations of the ramp and hangars (e.g., fueling & marshalling of aircraft).
- Ensure all personnel respect and adhere to the company security policy.
- Maintain the fleet stock of vehicles including the sourcing, purchasing, maintenance and licensing as well as ensuring the safety, efficiency and adequate supply of all ground service equipment.
- Design and implement a facilities/building management plan.
- Foster strong working relationships amongst the Line Service team.
- New employee interviewing, indoctrination and training.
- Reviews and approves department timecards; Overtime staffing and approval.
- Conduct manpower analysis.
- Provide support to accounting (invoice tracking and approval).
- Build effective relationships with related external agencies and vendors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school graduation.
- 2 years of line service experience or equivalent in aviation field, preferred.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Valid state driver's license and meet the company's insurability requirements.
- Consistently demonstrated good organizational and leadership skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Applicant must complete TSA background check and pre-employment drug screening
