Avionics Technician (Entry to Mid-Level)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in aircraft maintenance and avionics systems, with the ability to work effectively with hand tools and electrical/electronic equipment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while working on complex avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair avionics systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and software to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Perform inspections and tests on aircraft systems using tools such as meters and other test equipment.
• Collaborate with Tech Support and other technicians to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
• Conduct some heavy lifting as required for equipment installation and maintenance tasks.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and maintain records for compliance purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically in avionics systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Familiarity with computer software for troubleshooting and modification tasks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles related to avionics.
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting safely as part of the job requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
