Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Legal Assistant/Paralegal role at a medium-sized law firm located in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves supporting attorneys in preparing legal documents, maintaining files, conducting research, and assisting in day-to-day tasks such as answering phones, greeting clients, making appointments, and performing other clerical duties within the legal department.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in legal terminology and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with legal research methods and databases
- Experience with case management software is a plus
- Previous experience working in a law firm or legal setting
- 2 years of direct experience in Wills and Estates (MUST)
- Experience with filing court documents is a plus
- Excellent customer service
- Positive attitude
Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
