What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Director position at Private Listing?
Our restaurant group is seeking a Culinary Director to oversee our Multi-Unit and diverse culinary concepts to join our James Beard award winning team. The ideal candidate will direct and oversee all culinary operations, to include, but not limited to, production of menus and recipes, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability.
- 10 years of Culinary fine dining experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience as Executive Chef or Director of Culinary Operations / Culinary Director
- Flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor’s Degree or degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program preferred
- A strong and confident leader that drives change, trains, and inspires team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Working knowledge of restaurant financial systems, P&L management, and inventory processes
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, and reach with little to no accommodations needed for possible extended periods of time
- Able to carry / hold more than 50 lbs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Google suite
