What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time - Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Asst position at Private Medical Legal Management?
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the provision of quality care. Best 401k and approximately 30 days off including holidays
The NP will oversee the complete visit and evaluation of patients by medical assistants, with advanced training.
Patient evaluations are supported by advanced technologies allowing the transmission of data
Assuring delivery of quality care services to patients in a respectful and culturally competent manner
Contributes to physician’s effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberation
Assess patient health by interviewing patients; evaluating the physical exam information provided by the LPN
Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our Amazing Charts EMR system
Directs therapeutic treatments and prescribing of medication
Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; providing patient education information; and promoting wellness and maintenance of health
Provides comprehensive case management services that include emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention
Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient care plans
Communicates with community’s resources to ascertain adequate assistance for patients in need
Complies with all State and Federal applicable regulations to maintain an ethical and compliant environment
Maintains professional education and a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local legal professional requirements
Reviews information and documentation provided by RNs & LPNs
Maintains a working relationship with program medical directors and advises on program needs and continuous improvement
Contributes to a team atmosphere in delivery of care
Job Types: Part-time, a little more than two and a half days per week. Two options-option a) Monday-Wednesday (all day) b) Wednesday, Thursday, all day, Friday ends at 2pm. Pay starting at $65/clinical hour, depending on experience. Clinical hours are defined as being physically encountering the patient face-to-face. minimum of 2 primary care patients per hour. Some may opt for a bi-monthly pay equivalent
