Account Manager
One of the world's leading additive suppliers, with a global presence which includes Europe, Singapore, China and the U.S., is recruiting an account manager
This position is responsible for the sales of plastics additives to customers primarily in The U.S. and Canada.
Duties include forecasting and achieving annual objectives for revenue, and volume growth of plastics additives, the identification of new business opportunities and key account management.
This position requires residence in Gulf Coast and a willingness / ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Establish sales strategies, track and close new business targets consistent with long term company growth objectives.
- Market and business development activities to strengthen the company’s position in the region.
- Establish account development plans and network resources up, down and across both the customers’ organizations and the global company to achieve success in growing the business.
- Develop, execute and manage sales plans, sales budgets, and expense budgets.
- Deliver the planned results in volume and revenue terms.
- Manage key accounts. Develop and strengthen relationships
- Accurately define technical and business sales support requirements to accelerate sales growth.
- Sell the value contribution of products and services and price increases.
- Participate in and / or lead global business development teams.
- Closely monitor and keep the company aware of market news and trends
