Scope of Work:
The Web Designer/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and accessible web applications. This role involves working with both front-end and back-end technologies to create high-performance websites and web-based applications. The ideal candidate will have experience deploying enterprise applications on cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with federal web accessibility standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- This will be a remote role.
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using full-stack development technologies.
- Implement and ensure compliance with federal web accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG).
- Manage DevOps pipelines for Drupal and other web applications, ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize web applications on cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web performance, security, and scalability.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, workflows, and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and cloud computing.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in full-stack web development, including both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong expertise in Drupal CMS development and deployment.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) for deploying and managing enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in federal web accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
