Scope of Work:
The Outreach Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic outreach, communication, and public relations initiatives to enhance engagement with key stakeholders. This role involves managing outreach campaigns, overseeing public communications, and ensuring that all materials comply with relevant accessibility standards. The Outreach Manager will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to expand the organization’s reach and impact.
Position Responsibilities:
- This will be a remote role.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage stakeholders, partners, and target audiences.
- Manage communication campaigns, public relations efforts, and community engagement initiatives.
- Create and oversee the development of outreach materials, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, media outlets, and community organizations.
- Monitor and evaluate outreach efforts, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
- Organize events, webinars, and other engagement opportunities to increase visibility and participation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and outreach efforts with organizational goals.
- Oversee digital and social media outreach efforts to enhance engagement and public awareness.
- Ensure that all public-facing content is clear, inclusive, and accessible to diverse audiences.
- Provide guidance and training on best practices for accessible communication and outreach materials.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in outreach, communications, or public relations.
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement, public relations, or advocacy.
- Experience developing and executing outreach strategies for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for inclusive communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media management, and public relations platforms.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in event planning and community engagement.
- Ability to analyze outreach data and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
