Job Description
Prize Foundation is seeking a Graphic Designer or to collaborate with a Design Firm in Shreveport, LA to provide graphics services to the organization. The Designer or Firm would receive a monthly retainer to create a variety of graphics from pre-existing elements, a brand style guide, and conversations regarding objectives and creative direction for each project. Types of projects include event signage, festival program books, wearables, promotional items, sponsor outreach material, billboards, social media graphics, and other advertising or brand materials. The role may be performed in-office or remotely (or a mixture of both), but will require occasional in-person preparation and review meetings, especially during busy seasons (March-April and September-October) due to the volume of work and tight deadlines.
Qualifications
• Graphic design and typography skills leveraging existing assets and generating new ones in the same style.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Ability to self-manage your time and communicate needs in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines, including seasonal crunches in April/May and September/October.
Compensation
• $4,000/mo retainer with the expectation that some months will be lighter and some will be more work-heavy, communicated well in advance.
