Woodworker (Cushion Builder)
***This will be a afternoon shift position; hours around 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM***
PRM Inc is an industry leader in the production of custom-molded wheelchair seating and is looking for a full-time cushion builder. Someone with woodworking experience is preferred!
The duties will include manufacturing of seat and back cushions, hands on cushion production and shipment of products. Previous experience working in construction, using power tools, and basic maintenance person background will benefit. To qualify you must have strong mechanical skills and a willingness to learn and be a team player.
Woodworker (Cushion Builder) Responsibilities:
- Will be in charge of adjusting and adapting wheelchair cushions to desired features
- Must be able to use power tools
- Will use table saws, band saws, spraying glue
- Be proficient in cutting/trimming plastics and wood
- Will need to be physically fit to lit up to 50 lbs
Woodworker (Cushion Builder) Requirements: Ability to safely use and operate saws
- Mechanical operating skills
- Must know how to use routers
- Must be able to safely operate power tools
- Strong communication skills and time management
- Must be able to be an independent working
Woodworker (Cushion Builder) Benefits: After 90 days 100% medical, dental, vision 40 hours per week
- Time and a half for overtime

Pay: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
